South Korea Visa Requirements

Travbest Travel & Tours Co. is an accredited travel agency and tour operator by Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotion Board. We are offering assistance for visa application for Filipino tourists who wish to visit South Korea for all-inclusive starting price of Php 2,400.00 per head (subject to change).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR KOREA VISA 

  1. Duly filled up typewritten Korea Visa Application Form (5 pages).
  • Make sure that all contact details placed on the application form is active, Personal contact number, Employer number/e-mail, Inviter number. Signature is still Manually done on the page 5.
  • For questions that is not applicable for you, kindly put N/A.
  • Print in A4 size paper.

2. One piece passport size picture colored with white background. (Please attach on the application form directly and must be glued).

3. Passport original (at least 6 months valid) Old (w/stamps) & New.

4. Photo Copy / Xerox Copy of passport Bio-page.

5. Original and photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries* for the past five years (if applicable).

  • If lost old passport - lost passport and cannot submit a photocopy of arrival stamps, you may write a letter ofexplanation addressed to the Consul stating the reason why he/she cannot submit the old passport.

6. Copy of PSA Marriage Contract (If traveling with spouse).

7. Copy of PRC ID for professionals. (Doctors, Engineers, Accountants etc.)
8. Copy of IBP ID for (Lawyers).

**NOTE: Please submit your applications 1 month before your intended departure date or prior to your other travels where in you will need your passport.

FOR EMPLOYEES

  • Application Form
  • 1 piece of Passport size colored picture
  • Original Passport
  • Photocopy of Passport Bio-page (page 2)
  • Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years (If applicable only)
  • Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card (If applicable only)
  • Personal Bank Certificate (Original) - Must include applicant's account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance) "ADB"
  • Certificate of Employment (COE) Original - approved leave of absence is highly recommended. Must include applicant's designation / position, date hired, compensation, address, HR office land line number (cell phone no. is not allowed), HR email address.
  • Bank Statement - Original or certified true copy of bank statements / passbook for the last 3 months).
  • Photocopy of company I.D.
  • Photocopy of I.T.R "Income Tax Return" or Form 2316 (w/ personal TIN Number)Copy of PRC Card or IBP Card (If applicable only)

If personally invited by Korean-Authentication not required.-Invitation letter written in Korean.-Photocopyof inviter's Passport or Identification Card

If invited by Company in Korea -Authentication not required.-Invitation letter written in Korean.-Photocopy of Korean Company Business Permit.

  • Original Personal Bank Certificate- must include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)
  • Bank Statement- original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months.
  • Photocopy of ITR (income taxt return) or Form 2316.

If personally invited by Korean-Authentication not required.-Invitation letter written in Korean.-Photocopyof inviter's Passport or Identification Card

If invited by Company in Korea - Authentication not required.-Invitation letter written in Korean.-Photocopy of Korean Company Business Permit.

  • If employed: Employment Certificate Original [must include position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number (cellphone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address], Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy.
  • If self-employed: Business Registration from SEC or DTI (copy), Business Permit or Mayor's Permit (copy), photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316.
    • Original Bank Certificate [msut include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)].
    • Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)

( If personally invited by Korean ) - authentication not required- Invitation Letter written in Korean- Photocopy of inviter's Passport or Identification Card

( If invited by Company in Korea ) - authentication not required- Invitation Letter written in Korean- Photocopy of Korean Company Business Permit

*If parents already have a valid visa, attach photocopy of parents' valid visa. If not travelling together with parents, attach photocopy of passport or valid ID of parents.

- If husband is employed : Husband's Employment Certificate Original [must include position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address], Photocopy of ITR(Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy
- If husband is self-employed : Business Registration from SEC or DTI (Copy), Business Permit or Mayor's Permit(Copy), Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316
- Original Personal or Husband's Bank Certificate [must include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)]
- Personal or Husband's Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months)

FOR RETIREE

  2. 1 piece of Passport size colored picture with white background and taken within 6months.
  3. Original Philippine Passport- must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of departure.
  4. Photocopy of Passport Bio-page (page 2)
  5. Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years (if applicable only)
  6. Original Personal Bank Certificate [must be issued within a month]- must include account name, account number, acocunt type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB).
  7. Bank Statement- Original or certified true copy of bank statement/passbook for the last 3 months,
  8. Copy of Senior Citizen's I.D. [If early retired, submit retirement certificate or letter of explanation]

( If personally invited by Korean ) - authentication not required- Invitation Letter written in Korean- Photocopy of inviter's Passport or Identification Card

( If invited by Company in Korea ) - authentication not required- Invitation Letter written in Korean- Photocopy of Korean Company Business Permit

* If bank documents to be submitted are named to another family member, submit proof of relationship.
(Ex. Original PSA Copy of Marriage Contract for spouse, Birth Certificate for child, etc)

Visa Requirements for Religious Workers

9. If Employed: Employment Certificate Original [must include applicant's position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address], Photocopy of ITR(Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy

If Businessmen: Business Registration from SEC or DTI (Copy), Business Permit or Mayor's Permit(Copy), Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316

For Foreign Resident in the Philippines

We are offering assistance for visa application for Foreign tourists residing in the Philippines who wish to visit South Korea for all-inclusive starting price of Php 4,400.00 per head (subject to change).

  5. Original & Photocopy of valid visa/s and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the past 5 years (If applicable, and Korean Visas will not be counted)
  6. Photocopy of ACR I-Card, Philippine long-term visa, and arrival stamps to Philippines
  7. Personal Bank Certificate Original [must include account name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)]
  8. Personal Bank Statement (original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months).
  9. If Student: Original School Certificate and Photocopy of School ID
       If Employee: Original Certificate of Employment [must include applicant's position, date hired, compensation, office address, HR landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), HR e-mail address]. Photocopy of ITR(Income Tax Return) or Form 2316 Copy
       If Businessman: Photocopy of SEC or DTI, Mayor's Permit. Photocopy of ITR (Income Tax Return) or Form 2316.

*For nationals of below countries who are applying for Korean visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of the Philippines, only those who possess Philippine long-term residence visa (marriage visa, working visa, student visa, retiree's visa, permanent resident visa, and others) and have continuously stayed in the Philippines for more than 2 years will be allowed to apply.*

For The Valued Korean Visa clients:

Please be reminded that the Korean Embassy does not accept foreign bank documents.

For individuals who will be guaranteed by a non Relatives( friends / Fiance/ boyfriend/ girlfriend) the said applicant should still provide Financial Documents or that of their parents (with original birth certificate). Proof of relationship via Photo’s, email/ Messenger exchanges are a few example of proof of relationship. The Guarantor should also provide a written explanation on why he/ she is the one who will shoulder the expense of the said trip to Korea.

For Individuals who will be guaranteed by relatives, Original PSA birth certificates / marriage contract should be provided as proof of relationship. If the guarantor is not a parent, The parent’s /applicants financial Documents should also be submitted with an explanation letter regarding the guarantee on why they do not have the capacity to shoulder the expenses of the child.

Please expect that there might be delays in processing of visa.

  • Submitting a visa application, including all the required documents, does not automatically mean that the visa will be issued.
  • All rates, fees, requirements and processing are subject to change without prior notice and non-redundable.
  • Applicant is responsible in obtaining the complete requirements including the filling-in of forms. Please make sure that your documents are complete for our checking and submission.
  • Courier fee for sending travel documents to/from our office in Taguig City is at guest account.
